Barrel of Gold Futurity, BRN4D Open Barrel Races/ BBI section

Several more won BBI money and jackets at the Annual Eqvalan Barrel of Gold Futurity and Open 4D Barrel Race. The event was held in Helena, MT, August 23-24, 2008.  Manager, Kitty Herrin and her crew put on a great show! Over 400 runs were made overall!  Barrel Breeders Incentive is a "side pot" at three barrel racing events annually, and only BBI eligible horses compete for the BBI Prize money and awards. " It Pays to Own and Ride a BBI horse"!

Three Can Tango, 3D Barrel Races/BBI section
September 27 - 28, 2008

On September 27 & 28th, in Billings, Montana, the last of the three 2008 BBI events was held at the Three Can Tango Barrel Race. The ground at the Super Barn at the Billings Fairgrounds was great and the Open 3D barrel race had over 500 runs! Just over $30,000 in cash and prizes was awarded to the riders. The crew did a great job and fun was had by all.  “BBI’ is set apart from other barrel breeder’s programs as we promote at Open Barrel races as well as at Futurity events.   Plus eligible BBI horses can be shown from the ages of 4-7 years old in their divisions.

Having BBI as a sidepot at a big 3D event like this really give us a chance to promote our stallions to a variety of riders. Here are the results showing  “ It Pays to Ride a BBI Horse”.
